Your privacy commitment.
I Remember stores the most personal thing you can write: your private thoughts. We treat that responsibility seriously — not as a legal formality, but as a product commitment.
AES-256 encryption
All raw memory text is encrypted at rest with AES-256. Encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3.
No AI training
Your entries are never used to train any AI model — ours or any third-party provider.
Full data export
Export everything you've ever written as JSON at any time. Your data belongs to you.
Delete everything
One-tap permanent deletion of all your data, including backups. Irreversible and instant.
No content access
Our team cannot read your raw memory entries. Only encrypted ciphertext is stored server-side.
GDPR & CCPA ready
Full compliance with EU and California privacy regulations. Data residency options coming.
What data we collect
Memory content: The text or voice you input into I Remember. This is encrypted with AES-256 before storage. Our servers hold ciphertext only — we cannot read your entries.
Extracted metadata: The structured data extracted from your memories (emotions, person names, dates, topics). This metadata is what powers the People, Timeline, and Recall features. It is not encrypted individually, but is protected by your account authentication.
Account data: Your email address, hashed password, and subscription status. Standard authentication data.
Usage analytics: Anonymous event data (feature used, session length, crash reports). No content is included. We use this to understand which features are valuable and to fix bugs.
What we never do
- We never read your raw memory content. It's encrypted before it reaches our database. Not by policy — by architecture.
- We never train AI on your data. We use third-party AI providers (OpenRouter/DeepSeek) to process your inputs — but we explicitly opt out of all training data usage in our service agreements, and inputs are not stored by these providers after processing.
- We never sell your data. No data brokering. No advertising. No third-party data sharing beyond what's required for the service to function.
- We never keep content logs. Raw inputs processed by AI are discarded after extraction. We store the output (structured memory), not the pipeline (your exact words going to the AI).
Third-party services
I Remember uses the following third-party services:
- OpenRouter / DeepSeek: AI inference for memory extraction. Inputs are processed and discarded. We have opted out of training data usage per their enterprise terms.
- Sentry: Crash reporting. No user content is included in crash reports.
- RevenueCat: Subscription management. Handles payment processing data.

- Delete all your data permanently (Settings → Delete Account → Confirm)
